By February 17, 2009, all analog television signals coming from standard TV stations across the nation will go dark.
For cable and satellite subscribers, there will be no interruption of services, as analog signals will already be pre-converted. However, local cable outlets like Time Warner Cable are suggesting that people begin subscribing to digital cable services.
